Get connected for dining, fun and more at one of the playgroups, supper clubs, and other groups that meet throughout the DFW area. 

  

Chinese Firecrackers is a playgroup for babies, preschoolers,  and young children adopted from China.   We have events for stay-at-home parent families and working parent families.

Members generally live in Richardson, Plano, Garland, Sachse, Far North Dallas, or Allen, and activities will take place in those cities.

The Chopsticks Playgroup meets Thurs after school at 3:15pm at local parks, pools and hosting homes. Plus, we meet once a month on Sat or Sunday for a family seasonal event or party . Most of the kids are between 3 - 7 years old but all ages are welcome. Our group has members in Plano, Allen, McKinney & Frisco. For more information, contact Ellyn.

The Dragonflies playgroup is designed for working moms or single parents... although everyone is welcome. All events are scheduled so that working parents may attend.

The group meets every other Saturday morning as well as through out the year for special outings and Chinese culture celebrations.

Dim Sum Darlings is an active bunch that always welcomes new faces! All ages are welcome. Most are in the preschool and Kindergarten age group presently.

Members of our playgroup have adopted, or are in the process of adopting, children from China. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for both children and parents to form lasting and meaningful relationships with one another.

Our playgroup consists of families in Southlake, Grapevine, Keller, and surrounding Mid-Cities areas. People from all locations are welcome to join us!

Dim Sum Darlings offers a variety of playdate options. Special outings (parks, zoos), and Chinese-themed celebrations ( dinner out, playgroups in our homes) are also planned throughout the year. We generally meet on the fourth Saturday of the month and on the second Wednesday of the month.

New and waiting families are warmly invited to share in our many adventures!

Welcome to the Friday Fireflies, a Dallas area toddler/preschool playgroup. Ours is a fun and active bunch that always welcomes new faces!

Our playgroup consists of families in Lake Highlands, Preston Hollow, University Park, and surrounding Dallas suburbs. All are welcome to join the fun, no matter the location.

FCC Girl Scout Troop 3352 typically meets on the first Saturday of the month. This is our second year for our troop and we are a multi-level group with girls in Kindergarten, First and Second grade. We plan to add a grade each year and currently have 21 scouts. Our girls are from the Dallas-Fort Worth area including, Dallas, Plano, Rockwall, Coppell, Denton and Mansfield.

Troop 3352 is a great way for your daughter to maintain her cultural ties and to develop friendships with other girls adopted from China. Our mission is to educate troop members about Asian cultures through traditional Girl Scout activities and programs. We also include non-Asian activities and encourage giving back to the community. This troop has provided our girls with fun and invaluable experiences. This year we have planned the Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese table manners, Chinese fan dancing, camping and much more.

Girls cannot JOIN two troops (Troop 3352 and School Troop). They will need to JOIN one (that means pay the $12 national membership fee) and AUDIT the other (not pay national fee). You can choose which troop you want to JOIN and AUDIT the other. Troops 3352 have a mixture of decisions. Note: Scouts can only sell GS cookies for the troop they JOIN.

Little Ladybugs is a playgroup for children who are adopted from China.

Our children range in age from infants to toddlers and pre-schoolers. During the summer months, we are usually joined by school aged children. We meet every Tuesday morning in cities that overlap Collin County. Families generally live in Frisco, The Colony, Little Elm, McKinney, Allen and Plano.

The Dallas Older Kids group is a social forum for internationally adopted children (ages 1st grade and up).  The group meets every 4-6 weeks for various activities such as swimming, bowling and roller skating in various locations in the D/FW area.

The Tarrant County Older Kids group is a social forum for school-aged internationally adopted children (Kindergarten and up). The group meets approximately monthly for various activities such as arts and crafts, games, cooking, and swimming in various locations in Tarrant County.

The Playful Pandas is a supper club and playgroup.  Families generally live in the Lewisville or Denton area.

We welcome all families no matter where you are in the process of adopting.

We meet the third Saturday of each month (usually).   Some months will vary according to holidays.

We meet at Grand Buffet in Denton at 6:30.   Please contact Tammie for details or to be added to the mailing list.

The Saturday Sprouts is a playgroup and supper club that meets several times during the month for playtime and socializing with other families who have adopted or are in the process of adopting children from China. Members are generally from the northern suburbs of Collin, Denton and Dallas counties, including Plano, Frisco, Flower Mound and Irving. However, all are invited to join us, no matter your location or where you are in the adoption process.

Consisting mostly of children from ages 2-6, the playgroup meets at different area locations on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 11:00 a.m. and is geared towards toddler and preschool-aged activities. However, we encourage older children, fathers, and the entire family to attend. We also meet for dinner on the 2nd Sat night of the month at 6:00 p.m. for food and friendship.

Waiting Families North Texas Dallas area meetings typically occur on the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30am - noon at either First Christian Church of Plano (at 15th Street between Avenues G and H) or The Wall-Robbins House (just north of Avenue K and 18th Street in Plano). We also have other various social meet-ups throughout the month.

Caryn Campbell is the moderator for the group, and Minuette Wilt (214-564-3000) is the co-moderator .
